4 Steps to Help Heal a Broken Heart

4 Steps to Help Heal a Broken Heart

Heartbreak is a pain like any other. It is an emotional pain so bottomless that it can feel like a physical blow. When you have a pain like this one, all you want is for the deep ache to go away. As much as I’d like to recommend differently, there is no band-aid for a broken heart. Though it sounds like clich?, time is the remedy needed for you to truly heal from such a deep, wrenching pain. In time, this pain will go away. Between now and then, however, following a few basic tips might be able to make the difference in how you are feeling.

1. Cry:
You are going to feel like rubbish for the first few weeks. Depending how emotional of a person you are, you may feel like crying for days. Go ahead. A significant change has occurred in your life; a painful change. There is no way to expect that you will feel a little sadness and be able to shut it off with a switch. It’s just not that simple. Allow yourself to grieve for your loss. But not too long! Staying in the past for too long can only hurt you. See rule number 4.

2. Talk to Someone Close: Use the shoulder of someone who cares about you to get out your feelings. This is a way to purify your soul by letting someone to share your pain. Let them listen, comfort you, and offer advice. You don’t necessarily have to take that advice, but sharing this comfort can make you feel better. Make sure you only allow yourself to grieve and lean on someone for a time because you need to move forward.
3. Distract Yourself: Bring friends you care about back into your life. Maybe having the relationship was keeping you from spending time with your parents, or siblings. Maybe you hadn’t talked to your best friend in weeks. Surround yourself with this support network. Getting things that need to be done around the house done is a great way to get lost in a project. Go to the gym. Organize your closet. Get out and take a walk. Distracting yourself is a great stepping stone to moving on with your life. This brings us to rule number 4.

4. Look toward the Future; Forget the Past: Once you have allowed yourself the indulgence of grieving for a part of your life who is now past, look forward! There is a definite need to be able to start a new chapter in the book of your life. Now that you are past the sadness and anger, it is time for hope and renewal that will help you to move on. Take time out for yourself; get to know yourself as a single individual instead of as part of a couple. Replenish your soul by becoming you again.
Following these sometimes difficult, but necessary steps, you can begin to heal the broken pieces of your heart. You cannot only become whole again. You can become whatever you wish to become. This is a chance to start fresh, and once the pain starts to ease. You will see it as such an opportunity.

Cast Your Love Spell with a Love Potion

Cast Your Love Spell with a Love Potion

http://www.nydailynews.com/lifestyle/horoscopes/2011/02/17/2011-02-17_cast_your_love_spell_with_a_love_potion.html

A love spell has been described as a positive love-thought that you send out to the universe as an affirmation in the way of an incantation, or simply in the form of a prayer, and then you visualize with intense feeling what you desire to attract to your life.
Put these ingredients of manifestation together with the power of a ritual and you have a love spell that is simply spell-binding! During my years of studying metaphysics I am honored to have close friends and soul sisters from my home land in Australia, Deborah Gray and my late friend Athena Starwoman, both self-confessed and practicing white witches who lived in a coven and follow a spiritual way of life.
Having kept such company, over the years a little of their white magic rubbed off, and for this Valentine’s Day, I have created a concoction suitable for your star sign so you can cast your very own love spell.

How to cast your love spell:
Gather your ingredients, or as close as you can get to them. Substitutes are acceptable as the main ingredient to a successful love spell is that you resonate with all of your ingredients. You can even make your own incantation of words that you feel suit you best. Set the scene, dim the lights, or light a candle to create a sensual ambience, and think of only positive and loving thoughts, which will help to put you in a space for romance. As you concoct your love potion, have your love charm nearby or hold it in your left hand while you repeat your love incantation. When you have created your love potion and cast your spell, seal your love with a bite of your aphrodisiac, and your love spell will be sent to the Gods and Goddesses for creation. If you are with your love-partner, you can do the spell together and both bite into the aphrodisiac.

Liver Flush 2

How to Do A Liver Flush
Many people are interested in doing a liver flush to eliminate toxins from the liver. Liver flushing is really simple, and I'm going to tell you the best (and apparently only) way to do it. First, this is what you will need:

- Apple juice or malic acid supplements
- 4 tablespoons of Epsom Salt
- 1/2 cup of Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 big grapefruit, or 3 lemons.

Liver Flush Instructions
1. Before the liver flush: Do a thorough colon cleanse. Many people, including me choose to use a cleansing program such as DrNatura Colonix (it's very thorough). It's crucial to do a colon cleanse beforehand. You want your colon to be clean, and unclogged, so those gallstones do not get stuck in the colon, which can lead to serious problems.

Many people do a colon cleanse beforehand, as you can see here, and here. 1-2 months of colon cleansing should be enough.

2. After Colon Cleansing: For 4-5 days before your liver flush, eat as many apples, or drink as many apple juice as you can. You can take malic acid supplements instead. In the last 2 days, drink 8 oz of apple juice every 2-3 hours. Doing this will help ensure the liver flush is successful.

3. On day 6, eat a light breakfast with no fat. This enables the bile in your liver to accumulate, putting pressure in your liver. This pressure will eliminate more stones in your liver.

4. At 2:00 PM, the same day, mix 4 tblspoons of Epsom Salts in 3 cups of water, pouring all this into some jar (similar to salt water flush). Do NOT drink or consume any foods after 2 PM. This is extremely important! Put this jar in the cooler/refrigerator to make it cold

5. At 6:00 PM, drink 3/4 cup of this mixture. It will taste very bad... but you can add 1/8 tablespoons of powdered Vitamin C to make it taste better.

6. At 8 PM, drink another 3/4 cup of thix mixture. Get all your errands done, and prepare for the liver flush. You shouldn't be doing ANYTHING after doing a liver flush, just lying down and sleeping.

7. At 9:45 PM, pour 1/2 cup of virgin olive oil into a jar. Squeeze the entire grapefruit into the mix, removing the pulp with a fork. You should have 1/2 cups of grapefruit juice mixed with the virgin olive oil. Close the jar, and shake it very hard until it is all liquid.

8. At 10 PM, drink this mixture. You may drink it through some large straw if that makes it easier for you. Try to get it all down by 5 mins.

9. Lay down in your bed when you're done. This is crucial, and most people do this wrong. Just lay down immediately! Lay on your right side, with your right knee up towards your chin for 20 or so mins. Stay still, and try not to move at all. Try to sleep.

10. The next morning, when you wake up, drink a 3rd dose of your 3/4 cup Epsom salts. You can go back to sleep afterwards.

11. Two hours later, drink the last dose of Epsom salts.

12. Only after 2 more hours can you eat anything, but do not eat solid fruits just yet. Start with liquids, and move slowly to fruit.

Liver Flush Results
The next morning, you can expect some sort of diarrhea (this is caused by the Epsom salts). You might see some gallstones afterwards. Some people just eliminate regular wastes, but others eliminate hundreds of gallstones. Look for green, round things - these are gallstones. if they're float and are green, they are gallstones.

Here's a picture gallery of some gallstones a friend of mine got out after a liver flush.

Can a Liver Flush Cure Acne?
A lot of people do liver flushes to treat acne - you're not alone :) It can't cure all acne cases, but a lot of acne is due to an overload of toxins either in the colon, liver, or both. That's why so many people have success with holistic methods, and get better skin after colon cleansing + a series of liver flushes.

As for me, I had acne since I was 16 years ago. It very much made my life so miserable. I tried so many products from Accutane to Proactive. It wasn't until I did a colon cleanse, and then a series of liver flushes that my acne breakouts stopped. The acne scars will disappear over time - don't worry about those! The most important thing is preventing new breakouts.

Can A Liver Flush Lead to Weight Loss?
I don't suggest you focus on losing weight only. But colon cleansing, followed by a series of liver flushes can get rid of harmful toxins, and as a result stabilize our metabolism. So instead of gaining body fat, we burn food into energy quicker, and become leaner. I personally lost 10 lbs in 1 month while cleansing, but I know not everyone will lose that much. It depends person to person. I suggest focusing on becoming less toxic, the weight will take care of itself :)

The Benefits of A Liver Flush
The health of our liver is extremely crucial to long-term health. A congested liver is the root reason behind many modern diseases such as acne, candida, yeast infection, leaky gut, constipation, hermorrhoids, irritable bowel syndrome, and even an unhealthy body weight.

I read somewhere that doctors have found that in almost all cancer patients, the condition of their liver was extremely poor.

A congested liver is ultimately caused by an overload of toxins. As a result, the toxins eventually circulate back into your bloodstream, where it can end up anywhere - your joints, brain, heart, or other organs. Your kidneys become burdened by the extra workload, which contributes to the vicious cycle. If your colon is clogged as well, the liver has an even tougher time eliminating your toxins.

A congested liver, like a clogged colon is caused by these factors:
- A poor diet consisting of foods that kill
- Toxins found in the environment
- The over-use of antibiotics and drugs.
- Our lifestyle, and stress.

Wait... I don't see gallstones! Does It Work?
Most people don't even get gallstones in their first liver flush/detox. Be patient! Wait one more week before you do another liver flush. I know a friend who didn't pass any stones the first 3 times she did a liver flush, but lo and behold, the 4th time she did it, she eliminated lots of gallstones in one liver flush. Again, make sure you do a colon cleanse before liver flushing because those gallstones can be stuck in the colon.

We also need to realize our poor liver wasn't caused by 1 day of poor dietary habits - we can't expect it to be solved by just 1 day of liver flushing.

Liver Flush 1

The material you are about to read is quoted from Dr. Hulda's book, " The Cure for All Diseases ".

Excerpt from the book:

Cleansing the liver of gallstones dramatically improves digestion, which is the basis of your whole health. You can expect your allergies to disappear, too, more with each cleanse you do. Incredibly, it also eliminates shoulder, upper arm, and upper back pain. You have more energy and increased sense of well being.

It is the job of the liver to make bile, 1 to 1.5 quarts in a day! The liver is full of tubes (biliary tubing) that deliver the bile to one large tube (the common bile duct). The gallbladder is attached to the common bile duct and acts as a storage reservoir. Eating fat or protein triggers the gallbladder to squeeze itself empty after about 20 minutes, and the stored bile finishes its trip down the common bile duct to the intestine.

For many persons, including children, the biliary tubing is choked with gallstones. Some develop allergies or hives but some have no symptoms. When the gallbladder is scanned or X-rayed nothing is seen. Typically, they are not in the gallbladder. Not only that, most are too small and not calcified, a prerequisite for visibility on an X-ray. There are over half a dozen varieties of gallstones, most of which have cholesterol crystals in them. They can be black, red, white, green or tan colored. The green ones get their color from being coated with bile. Notice in the picture (pg. 545) how many have imbedded unidentified objects. Are they fluke remains? Notice how man are shaped like corks with longitudinal grooves below the tops. We can visualize the blocked bile ducts from such shapes. Other stones are composites- made of many smaller ones- showing that they regrouped in the bile ducts some time after the last cleanse.

At the very center of each stone is found a clump of bacteria, according to scientists, suggesting a dead bit of parasite might have started the stone forming.

As the stones grow and become more numerous the back pressure on the liver causes it to make less bile. Imagine the situation if your garden hose had marbles in it. Much less water would flow, which in turn would decrease the ability of the hose to squirt out the marbles. With gallstones, much less cholesterol leaves the body, and cholesterol levels rise.

Gallstones, being porous, can pick up all the bacteria, cysts, viruses and parasites that are passing through the liver. In this way "nests" of infection are formed, forever supplying the body with fresh bacteria. No stomach infection such as ulcers or intestinal bloating can be cured permanently without removing these gallstones from the liver.
Cleanse you liver twice a year

Preparation

You can't clean a liver with living parasites in it. You won't get out many stones. Zap daily the week before, or get through the first three weeks of the parasite killing program before attempting a liver cleanse. If you are on a parasite maintenance program, do a high dose program the week before.

Completing the kidney cleanse before cleansing the liver is also recommended. You want your kidneys, bladder and urinary tract in top working condition so they can efficiently remove any undesirable substances incidentally absorbed from the intestine as the bile is being excreted.

Do any dental work first, if possible. Your mouth should be metal free and bacteria free (cavitations are cleaned). A toxic mouth can put a heavy load on the liver, burdening it immediately after cleansing. Eliminate that problem first for best results.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Liver cleanse and gallbladder cleanse flush NO surgery

Ingredients

    * 1/2 Cup Olive Oil Extra Virgin (= 1.25 dl)
    * 1 Big grapefruit (2 small) (Or 3 lemons)
    * 4 tablespoon EPSOM salts = ( MgSO4 + 7H2O)
    * (EPSOM salts = Magnesium Sulphate = EPSOMITE = Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate)
    * 3 cups water (=750 dl)
    * 1/2 Cup Classic Coke (Optional - for taste only. See webmaster's note below)
    * (P.S .!! 1 cup = 250 ml = 2.5 dl = 0.25 l )

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Note inserted by webmaster:

You can substitute the 3 cups of water (=750 dl) (used in this recipe to dissolve the Epsom salt) with 3 cups freshly pressed grapefruit juice, or freshly pressed apple juice. That way you will not feel the unpleasant taste of the Epsom salt.

I also recommend using grapefruit juice over lemon juice. The lemon juice sometimes doesn't mix with the oil as well as grapefruit juice.]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Choose a day like Saturday for the cleanse, since you will be able to rest the next day.

Take no medicines, vitamins or pills that you can do without; they could prevent success. Stop the parasite program and kidney herbs too, the day before.

Eat a no-fat breakfast and lunch such as cooked cereal with fruit, fruit juice (no butter or milk), baked potato or other vegetables with salt only. This allows the bile to build up and develop pressure in the liver. Higher pressure pushes out more stones.

2:00 PM.

Do not eat or drink after 2 o'clock. If you break this rule you could feel quite ill later.

Get your Epsom salts ready. Mix 4 tbs. in 3 cups water and pour this into a jar.

[ You can substitute the 3 cups of water with 3 cups freshly pressed grapefruit juice, or freshly pressed apple juice .]

This makes four servings, 3/4 cup each. Set the jar in the refrigerator to get ice cold (this is for convenience and taste only).

6:00 PM.

Drink one serving (3/4 cup) of the ice cold Epsom salts. If you did not prepare this ahead of time, do it right now. You may also add 1/8 tsp. vitamin C powdered to improve the taste. You may also drink a few mouthfuls of water afterwards or rinse your mouth. Get the olive oil and grapefruit out to warm up.

8:00 PM.

Repeat by drinking another 3/4 cup of Epsom salts. You haven't eaten since two o'clock, but you won't feel hungry. Get your bedtime chores done. The timing is critical for success; don't be more than 10 minutes early or late.

9:45 PM.

Pour 1/2 cup (measured) olive oil into the pint jar. Squeeze the grapefruit by hand into the measuring cup. Remove pulp with fork. You should have at least 1/2 cup, more (up to 3/4 cup) is best. You may top it up with lemonade. Add this to the olive oil. Close the jar tightly with the lid and shake hard until watery (only fresh grapefruit does this).

Now visit the bathroom one or more times, even it makes you late for your ten o'clock drink. Don't be more than 15 minutes late.

10:00 PM.

Drink the potion you have mixed. Take 4 ornithine iconcapsules with the first sips to make sure you will sleep through the night. Take 8 if you already suffer from insomnia. Take it to your bedside if you want, but drink it standing up. Get it down within 5 minutes (fifteen minutes for very elderly or weak persons).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Notes from the webmaster:

Although I generally recommend against drinking soda, I make an exception when doing the liver flush. Adding an amount of Classic Coke equal to the amount of olive oil to the recipe makes swallowing the mixture much easier.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lie down immediately. You might fail to get stones out if you don't. The sooner you lie down the more stones you will get out. Be ready for bed ahead of time. Don't clean up the kitchen. As soon as the drink is down walk to your bed and lie down flat on your back with your head up high on the pillow. Try to think about what is happening in the liver. Try to keep perfectly still for at least 20 minutes. You may feel a train of stones traveling along the bile ducts like marbles. There is no pain because the bile duct valves are open (thank you Epsom salts!). Go to sleep. You may fail to get stones out if you don't.

Next morning. Upon awakening take your third dose of Epsom salts. If you have indigestion or nausea wait unit it is gone before drinking the Epsom salts. You may go back to bed. Don't take this potion before 6:00 AM.

2 hours later.

Take your fourth (the last) dose of Epsom salts. Drink 3/4 cups of the mixture. You may go back to bed.

After 2 more hours you may eat. Start with fresh fruit juice. Half an hour later eat fruit. One hour later you may eat regular food but keep it light. By supper you should feel recovered.

How well did you do?

Expect diarrhea in the morning. Use a flashlight to look for gallstones in the toilet with the bowel movement. Look for the green kind since this is proof that they are genuine gallstones, not food residue. Only bile from the liver is pea green. The bowel movement sinks but gallstones float because of the cholesterol inside. Count them all roughly, whether tan or green. You will need to total 2,000 stones before the liver is clean enough to rid you of allergies or bursitis or upper back pains permanently. The first cleanse may rid you of them for a few days, but as the stones from the rear travel forward, they give you the same symptoms again. You may repeat cleanses at two week intervals. Never cleanse when you are ill.

Sometimes, the bile ducts are full of cholesterol crystals that did not form into round stones. They appear as a "chaff" floating on top of the toilet bowl water. It may be tan colored, harboring millions of tiny white crystals. cleansing this chaff is just as important as purging the stones.

How safe is the liver cleanse? It is very safe. My opinion is based on over 500 cases, including many persons in their seventies and eighties. None went to the hospital; none even reported pain. However it can make you feel quite ill for one or two days afterwards, although in every one of these cases the maintenance parasite program had been neglected. This is why the instructions direct you to complete the parasite and kidney rinse program first.

This procedure contradicts many modern medical viewpoints. Gallstones are thought to be formed in the gallbladder, not the liver. They are though to be few, not thousands. They are not linked to pains other than gallbladder attacks. It is easy to understand why this thought: by the time you have acute pain attacks, some stones are in the gallbladder, are big enough and sufficiently calcified to see on X-ray, and have caused inflammation there. When the gallbladder is removed the acute attacks are gone, but the bursitis and other pains and digestive problems remain.

The truth is self-evident. People who have had their gallbladder removed surgically still get plenty of green, bile coated stones, and anyone who cares to dissect their stones can see that the concentric circles and crystals of cholesterol match textbook pictures of "gallstones" exactly."

Beat Spring Fever with the Power of Juice

Beat Spring Fever with the Power of Juice
To restore the immune system and stamina which have been weakened by winter, and prevent respiratory illnesses caused by the temperature fluctuations of spring and the sandstorms, regular habits and a well-balanced diet are of the essence. Here are some simple recipes for juice that will boost your appetite in the morning.

Cucumber-orange juice to reduce puffiness: Cucumber is great in controlling moisture levels, so it helps reduce puffiness. It is also helps balance sodium levels after excessive salt intake. Mixing it with orange reduces the overpowering flavor and adds vitamins.

Celery-apple juice for gastric problems: Celery is rich in fiber and vitamins A and C. Its bitter taste can be subdued with apple. To prevent the apple from turning brown, add a dash of lemon juice.

Broccoli-banana juice for constipation: Broccoli kills harmful germs in the bowels and has anti-inflammatory properties. Its texture is a bit too rough to be made into juice alone, so add banana for sweeter and softer taste.

Asparagus-apple juice for energy: Asparagus is rich in asparagines acid, which boosts energy levels and improves liver functions.

Lotus root and paprika juice for better circulation: Paprika slightly differs in nutrients and benefits according to colors. Orange paprika restores eyesight and betters blood circulation. Add a dash of lemon juice or vinegar to prevent lotus root from turning brown.

Prayer for a Happy Death

Prayer for a Happy Death
By Corazon Aquino

    Almighty God, most merciful Father
    You alone know the time
    You alone know the hour
    You alone know the moment
When I shall breathe my last.

    So, remind me each day,
    most loving Father
To be the best that I can be.
To be humble, to be kind,
To be patient, to be true.
    To embrace what is good,
    To reject what is evil,
    To adore only You.

When the final moment does come
Let not my loved ones grieve for long.
    Let them comfort each other
    And let them know
    how much happiness
    They brought into my life.
    Let them pray for me,
As I will continue to pray for them,
Hoping that they will always pray
    for each other.

Let them know that they made possible
Whatever good I offered to our world.
And let them realize that our separation
Is just for a short while
As we prepare for our reunion in eternity.

    Our Father in heaven,
    You alone are my hope.
    You alone are my salvation.
Thank you for your unconditional love, Amen

The wise spouse does not use mood-altering substances, become addicted, alcoholic or a user of illegal drugs. A wise spouse keeps his/her body fit.

The wise spouse never expects to be served, thus is never disappointed. The wise spouse is a giver, a helper; and is an example to the children of cheerful and energetic service to others.

"We Will Quit Sexting": 25 Dating and Love Resolutions for the Ladies in 2011

"We Will Quit Sexting": 25 Dating and Love Resolutions for the Ladies in 2011

A new year has just begun, and it’s time for clean slates and fresh starts – in our lives and in our hearts. There’s no better time than now to sit down with a blank piece of paper, an open mind and the determination to rock our love lives in 2011.

To get you started, raise your glass and toast to following BettyConfidential's 25 New Year's relationship resolutions:

1. We will not call, text or Facebook him twice in a row. No matter how desperate we are to hear from him. (Remember that little word, desperate.)
2. We’ll give Mr. Nice Guy a chance. And give Mr. Bad Boy the boot.
3. We’ll teach Nice Guy a few of Bad Boy’s bedroom moves.
4. We will not shave our legs before a first date. (We’ve finally learned not to trust ourselves to make him earn it; we need a little insurance policy.)
5. We will get friskier with our boyfriends/husbands; occasionally even in a public place (or on a public mode of transportation).
6. We won’t abandon the rest of our lives (including friends and family) just because we’ve met someone new.
7. When he sends us a one-sentence email, we will not respond with 10 paragraphs, two YouTube videos and three photo attachments. From here on, he gets fewer syllables than he sent.
8. We will smile at handsome strangers on a daily basis.
9. We will list d-bag dates in our iPhones by their character flaws. We’ll never again accept calls from “Only Dials Me When He’s Drunk Dan,” “Still-Married Marcus” or “Broke My Heart Twice Ted.”
10. We will stop telling ourselves we are too old, too plump, too skinny, too busy, too boring or too short for love. Self-love begets other-love.
11. We will quit sexting cold turkey.
12. We will make a habit of slapping on some lipstick and a smile before we walk out the door. Mr. Right could be waiting on the elevator. (Of course, if he’s truly Mr. Right, he’ll love you with plain old Chapstick – but that smile is crucial!)
13. We’ll invest less in thinking about wedding dresses and invest more in our retirement accounts.
14. We will not “friend” a guy we just started dating on Facebook. Nor will we prompt him to change his relationship status. We will remember that real life is better than virtual life.
15. We will stop kissing frogs who don’t turn into princes. And vice versa.
16. We’ll learn to trust our intuition more – and take our friends’ and families’ criticisms and/or dating advice with a healthy grain of salt.
17. We will get out of our comfort zone and be open to trying new ways to meet men.
18. We will give anyone who cheats on us the Jesse James treatment. (Thanks, Sandra!)
19. We won’t be afraid to define the relationship before we sleep with him.
20. We will throw out all of our silly dating “deal breakers” involving height, eye color, fashion sense and nose hair.
21. We will write new dating must-haves that include kindness, honesty, love and partnership.
22. We will take a breath before we start a fight with our significant other about something that won’t matter tomorrow morning.
23. We will remember why we fell in love with our significant other to begin with – and tell them often.
24. We’ll use our backbones more often than our wishbones when it comes to love.
25. We’ll spend more time with guys who make us laugh and less time with guys who make us cry.
