To restore the immune system and stamina which have been weakened by winter, and prevent respiratory illnesses caused by the temperature fluctuations of spring and the sandstorms, regular habits and a well-balanced diet are of the essence. Here are some simple recipes for juice that will boost your appetite in the morning.

Cucumber-orange juice to reduce puffiness: Cucumber is great in controlling moisture levels, so it helps reduce puffiness. It is also helps balance sodium levels after excessive salt intake. Mixing it with orange reduces the overpowering flavor and adds vitamins.

Celery-apple juice for gastric problems: Celery is rich in fiber and vitamins A and C. Its bitter taste can be subdued with apple. To prevent the apple from turning brown, add a dash of lemon juice.

Broccoli-banana juice for constipation: Broccoli kills harmful germs in the bowels and has anti-inflammatory properties. Its texture is a bit too rough to be made into juice alone, so add banana for sweeter and softer taste.
